Dexcom G6 CGM System Update

We are delighted to announce that the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System, has been registered in Australia (ARTG 330535).
Dexcom G6 represents the latest addition to the AMSL Diabetes product range, which includes the Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM, Tandem t:slim X2™ insulin pump, V-Go insulin patch pump for type 2 diabetes, Lifescan OneTouch® blood glucose meters and strips, and diabetes accessories such as HypoPak Fast Acting Glucose and MedAngel ONE.
About Dexcom G6: Dexcom G6 is Dexcom’s latest generation CGM system. Unlike previous generations, this CGM system is factory-calibrated — so zero fingerpricks are required! Dexcom G6 is comprised of a sensor, transmitter, optional touchscreen receiver (display device) and the new Dexcom G6 app. The system features a redesigned, one-touch auto-applicator and sleek, discreet transmitter. The Dexcom G6 transmitter sends glucose readings to a compatible smart device or the Dexcom receiver every 5 minutes. Dexcom G6 is indicated for people aged 2 years and older.
When will Dexcom G6 be available in Australia? Dexcom G6 has just been registered in Australia (ARTG 330535). There are a number of steps required to introduce it to the Australian market.
