AMSL Medical attends Global Collatamp G Seminar in Paris, France

On January 27th - 29th 2020, National Sales Supervisor, Amy Antenucci, attended the 1st global Collatamp G seminar in Paris, France.
The interactive meeting aimed to extend the knowledge on Collatamp G and share best practice among delegates. Hosted by SERB, the global distributor of Collatamp G, the meeting was attended by representatives from Europe, UK, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, LATAM, the Middle East, Canada and of course, Australia. The three days were filled with much sharing of experience, with a broad range of knowledge brought by all.
The meeting's focus was Collatamp G, a lyophilised collagen implant impregnated with the aminoglycoside antibiotic gentamicin. Combining both gentamicin and collagen, Collatamp G creates a barrier against surgical site infections (SSI). It is implanted at the surgical site at time of operation and is then completely absorbed by the body.
The surgical areas where Collatamp G is primarily used (but not limited to) include cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, vascular, colorectal, pilonidal sinus, trauma, gastrointestinal, maxillofacial, electrocardiology and urology.
AMSL and SERB are both dedicated to supporting surgeons and healthcare professionals with their use of Collatamp G to protect against surgical site infection, thus improving patient outcomes and alleviating healthcare system pressures.
