Simple, Cost Effective Microbial Counting

Compact Dry is an extremely easy-to-use plating alternative for the detection of bacteria in raw materials, finished product, water, and environmental swabs.

All you need to do is simply add your prepared sample to the plate, and it automatically diffuses without the need for spreading. The plates are then incubated and read.

Enterobacteriaceae grow to develop red or red purple colonies of 1-2mm in diameter due to the pH indicator contained in the medium.

Andrew graduated from University of Technology Sydney in 1998 with a degree in Biomedical Science. After graduation he worked as a microbiologist before moving into the field of food safety and rapid microbiology and has since spent over 16 years in this field. Andrew joined AMSL in 2008 as Scientific Division Manager, with an emphasis on meeting customer needs with superior products backed by excellent service and support.
