Rhinolight is a fascinating new category of product that utilises uVA and uVB light that is shone up the nostrils of a Rhinitis suffering patient, in controlled doses as part of a simple and easy treatment regime.

The uVA and uVB light acts to knock out the Mast cells, Basophils and Eosinophils that mediate the local allergic inflammatory response.

That reduces the allergic inflammation and reduces the engorgement and mucus production, and thereby relieves the Allergic Rhinitis symptoms for extended periods.

A standard treatment regime comprises 2-3 minutes for each nostril, once a week for 2-4 weeks, to treat Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis. Symptom relief should then persist throughout the pollen season (assuming the sensitivity is to pollens).

For Perennial Allergic Rhinitis, then the treatment regime may be extended to 4 to 6 weeks for a longer-lasting relief of symptoms
