AllergEAZE Allergen Syringes + AllergEAZE Chambers
   optimise patch testing !!!

Summary Brochure

The AllergEAZE System is described in a one-page Allergeaze Summary Sheet available for download here.

>420  individual allergens

The AllergEAZE System comprises over 420 different allergens in the routine Allergen List.
If there is an allergen you want or are interested in but don't see in our website or price list or catalogue or brochures, then just ask - we have hundreds of other "Special Allergens" in R+D, that can be made available.

If you are using another Patch Test System and wish to change to the superior Allergeaze system, then just let us know which allergens you are currently using and which you wish to use in future and we will do the correlation between the two manufacturers. Most usually a Series in Allergeaze comprises more allergens than from the other manufacturers and some of those allergens will be unique to Allergeaze.

There are frequent additions of new allergens to the routine AllergEAZE range. The website page at http://www.allergeaze.com/Allergens.aspx is the most up-to-date source of information on available allergens.

Manufacturer

Box of Allergeaze Syringes

The actual Allergens in Syringes are manufactured by Brial of Germany (www.brial.com).
The Chambers and other Ancillary Products are manufactured by Haye's Service B.V. in The Netherlands.

  Quality Control.
All AllergEAZE allergens are manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).

The Paul Erlich Institute, (PEI) is the internationally respected German authority controlling the quality, efficacy and safety of medical products.
Certification review of the AllergEAZE reagents by PEI is an ongoing process, whereby many of the allergens have already received certification, while the remaining allergens are either under current review or in the pre-submission developmental phase.

Optimised allergen representation and concentrations
The allergen concentrations are determined in cooperation between SmartPractice and ICDRG, ESCD and EECDRG and other national bodies.

Excellent stability
From the date of manufacture there is a
24
months shelf life; so there is less wastage due to expired materials.
There is a guaranteed minimum of 18 months remaining shelf life on delivery (fresh from the manufacturer in Germany) for all but 10 of the >420 Allergeaze allergens; and for the remaining 10 allergens it is >12 months guaranteed minimum remaining shelf life.

 Product Registration with TGA.
AllergEAZE is an epicutaneous patch test system, which is why we call it an "ex vivo" test to differentiate it from Skin Prick Tests that puncture the skin (i.e. "in vivo") , and which do require TGA registration.

As an epi-cutaneous patch test system it
is therefore exempt from the requirement for registration on the
TGA’s Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.

 Latest Product News !!! #1 (1st May 2008)

The European Baseline Series has been extended.
Two new allergens have been added as a result of a recent publication recommending that Lyral and Fragrance Mix II be added. Note also the nomenclature has changed so that the European Series is now known as the European Baseline Series; the inference being that this is the core list of allergens, and the individual user may add to this list of 28 allergens other allergens of their own choosing that are important in the local population. This publication entitled "Recommendation to include Fragrance Mix II and HydroxyIsoHexyl 3-CycloHexene Carboxaldehyde (Lyral) in the European Baseline Series" by Bruze & Andersen and Goossens on behalf of the ESCD and EECDRG, is available for download as a pdf file here.

            These two additional allergens are:

            ST 161 =  4-(4-hydroxy-4-methyl pentyl)- 3-cyclohexene-1-carboxaldehyde (Lyral)
NA38 = Fragrance Mix II

Both these allergens are therefore incorporated into the AllergEAZE European Baseline Series and are therefore available as part of that series from stock in Sydney .

This website can be used to investigate chemicals and other similar potentially allergenic substances, including finding synonyms, chemical information etc.

If you cannot find the info you are looking for here then please contact us at AMS as we can ask the Allergeaze people in North America. Their in-house knowledge and their worldwide network is second to none and so they can most usually be of assistance.

Allergeaze can create custom chemical allergen patch tests to order.
Call us if you are interested to obtain any allergen not listed in the website at www.allergeaze.com.
Not only are there over 400 allergens listed there (updated with new allergens frequently) and commercially routinely available through AMS, but there are a large number of research allergens already existing on the back-benches.

Latest Product News !!! #6 (28th January 2009)
Price increases due to the persistence of the reduced forex value of the Australian Dollar.
It is unfortunately absolutely necessary to increase the prices of all Allergeaze products due to the approx 25% reduced value of the A$ against the US$ causing our costs to have increased by 25%.
However the selling prices have been increased by only approx 10-15%. Note that other suppliers of patch test systems will have exactly the same problem and have taken the only realistic response to also increase prices.

Latest Product News !!! #8 (10th March 2010)
Allergeaze Allergen Syringes.

Due to increased regulatory demands on the Germany-based manufacturer of the Allergeaze allergens, there is a successive transferrence of the allergens from allergen Tubes to allergen Syringes.

This is ongoing from 1/1/2010 and applies to all new production batches of individual allergens. Most allergens are therefore already converted now (10th March 2010) to Syringes.

The new Allergeaze Syringes also contain the allergen in 5ml of petrolatum, and so should provide 100 to 125 tests per Syringe.

The syringes are extremely well designed and engineered and constructed to provide optimal control over the petrolatum extrusion procedure.

A sample Syringe is available for your evaluation and comparison to demonstrate the superiority over other Syringes from the other Contact Allergen manufacturers.
