MedicalEnteral Safety SyringesThe Medicina range of syringes and accessories has been developed to prevent misconnections to intravenous equipment The use of this range of syringes, in place of standard IV syringes, significantly reduces the harm caused by the accidental delivery of enteral feed into parenteral lines. The syringes are colour coded purple inline with the European standard EN1615 for enteral devices. In addition they have a female Luer lock to prevent accidental mis-connections to intravenous devices which makes them incompatible.
