Allergoids

Allergoids offer an alternative to native allergen extract vaccines with a number of benefits. Scientific studies have shown that allergoids can offer a reduced risk of serious side effects1 when compared to traditional native immunotherapy vaccines with equivalent efficacy.2,3

  • Glutaraldehyde-polymerised standardised allergoids
  • Achieve full maintenance dose within 1-3 weeks 
  • Reduced binding to specific IgE, hence it is less allergenic than the native extract1
  • Lower Capacity to react with IgE4
  • Lowered Basophils/Mast Cell activation5,6
  • Improved tolerability7,8
